We make learning how-to make pottery fun and stress free.

We approached teaching how to work with clay differently. Our ceramics courses are built to provide you not only the know-how, but the why behind the techniques and skills you’ll learn. We also build in time for group activities, and encourage plenty of social interaction and fun. 8 Week Intro to Pottery Course

Our 8 week Intro to Pottery Course, or beginner pottery class, was designed to be fun, engaging, and accessible. We cover a wide range of topics, giving you all the basic knowledge you need to fully enjoy the pottery studio.

Each week covers a new skill and topic, including:

  • Basics of Hand Building with Coils, Slabs, and Pinching

  • Learning to Center Clay on the Pottery Wheel

  • Throwing Bowls, Cups, and Plates

  • Basics of Glazing and Underglazes

8 Week Pottery Skill Building Course

Our 8 Week Pottery Skill Building course was created to help students, who completed our 8 week beginner pottery course, to gain experience making exciting new ceramic forms, like teapots, pitchers, and moon jars.

Haven’t taking our intro course? That’s okay too! This course is also great for individuals who have taken clay classes at other studios, and have experience centering and using the potters’ wheel.

Our projects are scaled to the students skill level, giving everyone a chance to create compound forms, and uncover new ways to be creative and enhance their work.
