Policy for Handling Makeup Sessions

We know life can be as unpredictable, and we want to ensure you don't miss out on your creative time. To keep the studio running smoothly, please refer to the following guidelines regarding makeup sessions for pottery class and pottery club.

Why Notification is Required

Informing us of a missed session isn't just paperwork, it’s about the studio experience for everyone, including our instructors and facilitators. We require notification for two main reasons:

  • Studio Capacity: We need to ensure our instructors and club facilitators are prepared for extra participants so that the studio never feels overcrowded.

  • Resource Management: By knowing what you missed, we can help schedule your makeup at a time when you’ll have access to the specific tools, equipment, and instruction relevant to your project.

How do I submit a makeup request?

To submit a makeup session request simply complete this form, and your request will be sent to our team.

Flexibility & Changes

Can I update my request after I submit it? Absolutely. The inquiry form is simply a tool to help us streamline the process and get back to you faster. If your availability changes or something else comes up, don't sweat it. You can always reach out via our website, phone, or social media to adjust your details.

Policy Limits

While we don't have a hard "cap" on the number of makeups, we do have specific windows of time to ensure everyone gets fair access to the wheel, and that studio operations and instruction can continue properly, these include:

  • Sessions should be made up within the same calendar month or as close to the missed date as possible. Makeup sessions cannot be accrued, and requests to makeup dates well in the past will likely be denied.

  • All missed sessions must be completed within the semester of which you are taking a class.
